Week 1
I've now been here for a week, and so far all I've got to show for it is Freshers Flu!.. o ye and also making new freinds, having another big city experience, starting lectures proper, joing different societies and sports clubs and eating away into my debt.
Today was the first officail date on the time table, learning the difference between journalistic text and academic one's. Basically just refreshing things I probably know, but after 4 YEARS OUT! its good to get back into education and reminding myself about all this. Im sure my first few essay's will be a bit shakey but I know im not the lone sailor on this ship.
On the social side of things, we've had some mad nights out, and probably many more to come! Water Polo is the new past time, it's certainly not the easy option to football... my fitness is probably on par with Frank Gallagher (shameless) but after a year of 3 training sessions a week, I'l have a body like Arni.
So this week we're starting the assignment 'text in the city', a group of 3 of us are basically going for a gander around cardiff with a camera and drinking coffee, which will be much needed as the Freshers fortnight is coming to an end! SO THE ADVENTURE HAS BEGUN
